Mrs. Sallie Jane Johnson Isbell passed away at the home of her son, Clarence in the New Site Community. She had been in failing health for some time.
She had passed her 75th Birthday on
October 10th and was married to George W. Isbell in February 1889. Her husband died about five
years ago and she had since made her home with her son. She became a member of
She is survived by two sons, W. C. and Forest of New Site and three daughters, Mrs. Lena Belle Stockton of Chicago, Mrs. Lula Beard of Mobile and Mrs. Frank Woodruff of Paden and many other relatives.
Funeral and burial services were held at Siloam on Tuesday of last week. McMillan Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
