BOONEVILLE - Hunter Graham Dugger Inman, infant son of Devon and Allison Dugger Inman, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, at LeBonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis.

Services will be at noon today at Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bob Cossey officiating. Burial will be in the Lebanon Cemetery.

Survivors include his parents, Devon and Allison Dugger Inman of Booneville; his grandparents, Jimmy and Linda Dugger of Baldwyn, Roger and Ann Inman of Booneville and Pam and Rusty Cole of Booneville; his great-grandparents, Fred and Maxine Barnes of Booneville, Velma Prather of Baldwyn and Leailla McCreary of Marietta.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, John Stanley Inman, Fred McCreary, C.L. "Shorty" Prather, and J. B. and Jewell Dugger.

 

JOHN INMAN

BOONEVILLE - John Stanley Inman, 72, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 1997, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, following an extended illness. He was the retired owner of Inman Union 76 Service Station in Memphis, and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doyle Howell and the Rev. James Tidwell officiating. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Maxine Wilemon Inman; a daughter, Cindi Bums and her husband, Rod, of Baldwyn; one son, Roger Inman of Booneville; a sister, Mary Vick o Memphis; four grandchildren, Misty and Devin Inman and Cadley and Bentley Burns; and one great-grandson, Bryson Harris.

 

R.C. INMAN

CORINTH - R.C. Inman, 72, died Saturday, March 5, 2005, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was a retired bricklayer, backhoe operator and electronics shop owner.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Coleman Family Chapel with Bro. Nelson Hight officiating. Burial will be in the Vanderford Cemetery in Alcorn County.

Survivors include one son, Ronnie Inman and wife, Sandra; his granddaughters, Coby Feazell and husband, Paul, and Megan Ashe and husband, Nick, all of Corinth; one great-grandchild, Kalli Jane Ashe of Corinth; one brother, James Inman and wife, Elizabeth of Camden, Tenn.; three sisters, Sarah Williams of Camden, Tenn., Shirley Thorn and husband, Junior, of Kenosha, Wisc., and Betty Inman of Palatine, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Inman.

Pallbearers will be Paul Feazell, Bob Hill, Ronald Wilbanks, Mike Hutson, Steen Dalton and John Stanford.

 

HALEY PORSCHE FAITH PORSCHE IRVIN

BOONEVILLE - Haley Porsche Faith Irvin, 18 months, died Monday, March 31, 2003, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. She attended Fairview Baptist Church.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Pete McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Old Booneville Cemetery.

Survivors include her parents, Michael and Tina Calton Irvin of Booneville, and Keith Wade Hughes of Rienzi; her grandparents, Ronnie and Esther Sanders of Belmont, Jessie and Sue Fowler of Corinth, and Edith Hughes of Rienzi; her great-grandmother, Irene Drake of Eckerty, Ind.; two sisters, Mercedes Morgan of the home and Kristin Irvin of Philadelphia; seven brothers, Christopher Morgan and wife, - Stephanie, of Booneville, Adam Morgan of Belmont, Harley Irvin of Booneville, Michael Lance Irvin and Brian Irvin, both of Philadelphia, and Jonathan Thomas Hughes and Ryan Samuel Hughes, both of Rienzi; a nephew, Cody Morgan of Booneville.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, R. C. Calton, James L. Irvin and Billy T. Hughes; her great-grandparents, Ralph Drake, and Met and Deloris Calton; and a cousin, Eric Palmer.

Her brothers will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will continue until service time today.

 

BARBARA ISBELL

CORINTH - Barbara Fay Bertrand Isbell, 58, died Sunday, July 25, 2004, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was a member of the Eastview First United Pentecostal Church. She was a devoted minister's wife, very active in church work and with her family. She was previously a manager of Dreyfus Store in Krotz Springs, La., for over 30 years.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Eastview First United Pentecostal Church in Eastview, Tenn. with the Rev. Ray Majors, the Rev. Cecil Robinson and the Rev. Wayne Chester officiating. Burial will be in the Rock Hill Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Corinth. Magnolia Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Wayne Isbell of Corinth; one son, Jon Isbell and wife, Nena, of Corinth; three daughters, Becky Blankenship and husband, Gerald, and Donna Durham and husband, Wayne, all of Corinth, and Sherry Callahan and husband, Tommy, of Michie, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; two brothers, David Bertrand and wife, Ruby Leigh, and Ernest Gene Bertrand, all of Melville, La.; four nieces; three nephews, a sister-in-law, Joann Kennedy and husband, Stanley, of Melville, La.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Noah Bertrand and Edna Mouille Bertrand; one brother, Daniel Bertrand; one sister, Thelma Bertrand.

CLYDE ISBELL

RIENZI ‑ William Clyde Isbell, 74, died Sunday, July 23, 2000, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville after a brief illness. He was a farmer and a member of Rienzi Baptist Church.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Rienzi Baptist Church with the Rev. Charlie Cooper and the Rev. Jerry Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery. McMillan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include one daughter, Linda Monroe, and her husband. Kenneth, of Rienzi: one son, Larry Isbell, and his wife, Helen, of Rienzi; one sister, Marie Barnes of the Cairo community; one brother, Clovis Isbell of the Cairo community; three grand­children, William Mitchell Isbell, Cyn­thia Lynn Monroe and Franklin Scott Monroe.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Irene Bishop Isbell; a sis­ter, Weber Starts; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Elmer Isbell

Pallbearers will be Milton Bishop Gene Bishop, Chad Walker, Carroll Parks, Doug Johnson, Ray Pace and James Roy Marecle.

ESTHER ISBELL

            NEW SITE‑ Esther Isbell, 100, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2002, at Cedars Health Center in Tupelo after along illness. She was a homemaker and a member of Siloam United Methodist Church.

            Services will be at 2 pro today at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro Jimmy Glover and Bro. Tim Rhoads officiating. Burial will be in Siloam Cemetery.

            Survivors include four daugh­ters, Faydell Waggoner and her husband, Bob, of St. Louis, Mo., Maxine Martin of New Site, Sue Rhoads and her husband, Fred of Quincy, Fla., and Jane Martin and her husband, Weaver, of Southavem, a son, Webber Isbell and his wife, Melba, of Marietta; a special granddaughter whom she raised, Ann Warren and her hus­band, Ken, of Tupelo; a sister‑in-law, Grace Moore of New Site; 18 grandchildren 26 great‑grandchil­dren; seven great‑great‑grandchil­dren.

            She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Isbell; two daughters, Helen Nichols and Kathleen McDonald; and three sons‑in‑law, Leonard Nichols, Jack McDonald and Robert Martin.

EULAS ISBELL

BOONEVILLE - Eulas Isbell, 72, died Friday, June 27, 1997, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville following an extended illness. He was born July 21, 1924, in Franklin County, Ala., to James R. and Mattie Johnson Bell, He was a member of Little Brown Missionary Baptist Church. He was a farmer and a retired factory worker. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of Marietta Masonic Lodge 188, a member of Booneville Chapter 12 of the Eastern Star and was an avid coon hunter and fisherman.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Russell Clouse and Bro. Danny Short officiating. Burial will be in the Little Brown Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Gladys Nichols Isbell, whom he married Feb. 9, 1945; two sisters, Beatrice Holley of Marietta and Juanita Dunn of Booneville; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jimmie Ray Isbell; five brothers, Elmer Isbell, Elvie Isbell, Albert Isbell, Hillard Isbell and Howard Isbell; two sisters, Villar McCoy and Arrie Hutcheson.

Pallbearers will be Randy Crabb, Gerald Johnson, Quentin Weaver, Paul Mayo, Barry Yearber and Benny Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews.

 

 

HOWARD ISBELL

BOONEVILLE - James Howard Isbell, 78, died Friday, March 11, 1994, at the Hamilton General Hospital in Hamilton, Ala. He was a retired salesman for John Manville Building Supply Co., a resident of Guin, Ala., and a Baptist.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Salts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Russell Clouse and the Rev. Terry Beaty officiating. Burial will be in the Little Brown Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Fannie Isbell of Guin, Ala.; one daughter, Dimple Aldridge of Guin, Ala.; two sons, Joe Isbell of Illinois and Tommy Isbell of Alabama; three sisters, Villar McCoy, Beatrice Holley and Juanita Dunn, all of Booneville; one brother, Eulas Isbell of Booneville; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be James Horn, Rick Holley, Wayne Holley, Terry Beaty, Robert Isbell and Gilbert Isbell. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Holley, Carl Horn, Shelton Moreland, Clovis Isbell and Elbert Hutchenson.

MARY GERALDINE ISBELL

BOONEVILLE - Mary Geraldine Isbell, 73, died Friday, Jan. 21, 1994, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. She was a retired employee of Prentiss Manufacturing Co., a Baptist, and the widow of Leburn Isbell.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Salts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Pete McCoy and the Rev. Travis Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Siloam Cemetery.

Survivors include one brother, Robert Hall of Iuka, and one niece.

 

 

MRS. SALLIE ISBELL

Mrs. Sallie Jane Johnson Isbell passed away at the home of her son, Clarence in the New Site Community. She had been in failing health for some time.

She had passed her 75th Birthday on October 10th and was married to George W. Isbell in February 1889. Her husband died about five years ago and she had since made her home with her son. She became a member of Siloam Methodist Church in 1887 and was always ready to do her part in its work, She had many friends who will greatly miss her.

She is survived by two sons, W. C. and Forest of New Site and three daughters, Mrs. Lena Belle Stockton of Chicago, Mrs. Lula Beard of Mobile and Mrs. Frank Woodruff of Paden and many other relatives.

Funeral and burial services were held at Siloam on Tuesday of last week. McMillan Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

RIENZI - Funeral services for William Clyde Isbell, 74, were held at 1 p.m. July 25 at Rienzi Baptist Church with the Revs. Charlie Cooper and Jerry Kelly officiating. Burial was in Booneville Cemetery.

Mr. Isbell died Sunday, July 23, 2000, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. He was a farmer and member of Rienzi Baptist Church.

 

WAYNE IVEY

BELMONT - Arlion Wayne Ivey, 51, died Friday, July 22, 2005, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born in Belmont on July 17, 1954, to Arlion and Lillard Spencer Ivey. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force after 16 years. He served in the U.S. Army for four years and also worked for the Tishomingo County Sheriff Department. He served his country in Korea, Turkey and Desert Storm.

Services will be at 3:30 p.m. today at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Belmont with Bro. Hal Crandell officiating. Burial will be in the Lindsey Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Shanna Ivey of Bellville, Ill.; three sons, Nicholas Ivey of Millstadt, Ill., Anthony Ivey of Kokomo, Ind., and Cody Pate of Belmont; two grandchildren, Levi Wallace and Zakary Ivey; two sisters, Barbara "Rudy" Welch of Tenn., and Mildred Summerford of Ala.; three brothers, Marcus Ivey of Belmont, Monroe Ivey of Red Bay, Ala., and Marshall Ray Ivey of Dennis; his fiancZe, Donna Medley; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Tina Wooten and Eloise Hayes; and three brothers, Dorsie Ivey, William Ivey and Jimmy Dale Ivey.

DEWAYNE "SHOTGUN" IVEY

BELMONT - Thomas Dewayne "Shotgun" Ivey, 41, died Thursday, June 5, 2003, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was a native of Mississippi and a factory worker. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Arlies Ivey and Fannie Jane Brazil Ivey, and an uncle, John Henry Ivey.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Belmont with Bro. Donnie Wooten officiating. Burial will be in the East Prentiss Baptist Church Cemetery.

BOONEVILLE ‑ James Ivey, 72, died Tuesday, May 23, 2000, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a daughter: sev­eral stepchildren; a grandson: several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvie and Beulah Allison Ivey, and a brother, Garland Ivey.

RED BAY - Kathy Hall Ivey, 50, died Saturday, July 23, 2005, at the Helen Keller Hospital. She was born Sept. 24, 1954, in Alabama. She was a homemaker and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church of Red Bay.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. Gene Cooley and Bro. Bobby Massey officiating. Burial will be in the Ridge Cemetery in Golden.

Survivors include her mother, Jean Hall of Red Bay; one son, Erik Wigginton of Belmont; one daughter, Tosha Grimes of Red Bay; one granddaughter, Skye Wigginton of Belmont; two sisters, Sue Blake and Nancy Hester, both of Red Bay; two brothers, Danny Hall of Red Bay and Ricky Hall of Huntsville, Ala.

CORINTH - Kimberly D. Renfro Ivey, 42, died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born Aug. 11, 1961, in Huntsville, Ala., to Kenny and Charlotte Coker Renfro. She was a homemaker and a member of Farmington Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and being on the computer. She was a loving wife and mother.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Farmington Baptist Church and at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Laughin Funeral Home in Huntsville. The Rev. Tim Nall will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville. Corinthian Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, Mark Ivey of Corinth; her mother, Charlotte Walters of Madison, Ala.; a son, Benjamin Ivey of Corinth; a brother, Chris Renfro and wife, Beth, of Hazel Green, Ala.; a sister, Jeanne Miller and husband, Wade, of Athens, Ala.; her mother-in-law, Wanda Walter of Harvest, Ala.; a brother-in-law, Mike Ivey of Harvest, Ala.

L. C. IVEY

L. C. Ivey, 72, of Dennis, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002, at his residence.

Services were Friday, Oct. 25, at 1 p.m. at East Prentiss Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Johnson officiating. Burial was in East Prentiss Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home in Belmont, Miss. was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Ivey was a native of Mississippi and was retired from Greenwood Feed & Seed Co., Myrtle, Miss. as a dog trainer after 35 years. Mr. Ivey was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearlie Ivey in 2000: a daughter, Brenda Ivey in 1961: and a granddaughter, Andrea Bishop in 1989.

Survivors include two daughters, Caffie Bishop and husband Jimmy of Rienzi and Patricia Dillard and husband David of Blue Springs: three sons, Doyle Ivey and wife Wanda of Dennis, Shelton Ivey and wife Tina of New Albany, and Edward Ivey and wife Vannessa of' Belmont, and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Eddie Women, Tommy Ivey, Jon Bishop, Keith Ivey, Garry Maxwell and Gary Ivey.

 

ONI LEE IVY

BELMONT - Oni Lee Ivy, 87, died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2003, at Daniel Health Complex in Fulton. She was born Sept. 10, 1915, to the late Silas and Daisy White Wigginton. She was retired from Blue Bell Manufacturing in Belmont. She was an active member of Old Bethel United Methodist Church until becoming unable to attend. She enjoyed working with flowers and cooking for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Lee Ivy, in 1965.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Old Bethel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Donny Riley officiating. Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home of Belmont is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include four daughters, Jean Wigginton and husband, Travis, of Golden, Patsy Pounders and husband, Clyne, of Belmont, Sandra Stringfellow and husband, Lee, of Wetumpka, Ala., and Brenda Sue Cochran and husband, Richard, of Albany, Ga.; two sons, Kelly Ivy and wife, Peggy, of Amory and Glen Ivy and wife, Janet, of Eddyville, Ky.; a brother, Dallas Wigginton and wife, Gladdis, of Golden; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will continue at the funeral home until 9:30 a.m. today. The body will lie in state at the church one hour before services.

DENNIS ‑Pearlie Francis Ivey, 60, died Wednesday, June 7, 2000, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville She was a native of Mis­sissippi. She was a homemaker and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Emmanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Watts and the Rev. Richard Johnson officiating. Burial will be in East Prentiss Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home of Belmont is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, L. C. Ivey of Dennis; two daughters, Cal Bishop and her husband, Jim­my, of Rienzi and Patricia Dillard and her husband, David, of Blue Springs; three sons, Doyle Ivey and his wife, Wanda, of Dennis, Shelton Ivey and his wife, Tina, of Pittsboro, and Edward Ivey of Belmont; a brother, Arthur Lee Stanfield of Vine, Ala.; seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Ivey. in 1961 and a granddaughter, Andrea Bishop, in 1989.

BOONEVILLE - Reba Fay Coker Ivey, 70, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2003, at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of Snowdown Church of Christ.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Snowdown Church of Christ with Minister ter James Wilson and Minister Don Green officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. McMillan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Homer Ivey of Booneville; three daughters, Debbie Timbes, and Beverly Prince and husband, Johnny, all of Booneville, and Vicki Nabers and husband, Mark, of Kirkville; a son, Tim Ivey and wife, Missy, of Booneville; two sisters, Nettie Pannell and Laurine Lambert, both of Booneville; a brother, Herman Coker of Booneville; six grandchildren, Derek Timbes and wife, Misty, Ericka Timbes, Rayce Timbes, Ethan Prince, Kacy Nabers and Kaitlyn Prince; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, H. C. and Verdell Coker; a sister, Trannie Floyd; and three brothers, Will, T. R. and Quinton Coker.

BOONEVILLE - Travis Dayton Ivey, 66, died Friday, Aug. 12, 2005, at Longwood Community Living Center in Booneville. He was born Feb. 24, 1939, in Tishomingo County to Thomas Loyd Ivey and Vivian Pearl Newborn Ivey. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a construction worker. He was a member of Snowdown Church of Christ. He enjoyed reading westerns.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Snowdown Church of Christ with Minister Steven Hodgin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include two sons, Steven Ivey and wife, Lezley, of Edmond Park, Okla., and David Ivey and wife, Frances, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two daughters, Tracy Burns of Savannah, Ga., and Lisa Jarnagin and husband, Willie, of Guys, Tenn.; three brothers, Homer Ivey, and Troy Ivey and wife, Ann, all of Booneville, and Glen Ivey and wife, Brenda, of Guys, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Reba Ivey.

The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.

 

VIRGLE IVEY

Virgle Ivey, 64, of Iuka, died Wednesday, April 17, 2002, at the Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home in Iuka. Funeral services were held Friday, April 19. Burial was in the Rutledge-Salem Cemetery.

Local survivors include her mother, Jean Williams of Booneville; three brothers, Bailey Williams, Melvin Williams and Connie McDonald, all of Booneville; and a sister, Nelda Carpenter of Booneville.

 

 

JAMES IVY

BOONEVILLE - James S. Ivy, 86, died Tuesday, Oct 10, 2000, at the McNairy County Health Care Center in Selmer, Tenn. Ho was a retired industrial worker and a member of the Baptist church. He was the husband of the late Geneva Brewer Ivy.

Services will be at 2 P.m. Friday at Salts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Martin Ray Neal officiating. Burial will be in the East Marietta Church Cemetery.

Survivors include his daughter, Betty Reese of Marietta; one son, Allen Ivy of Memphis, one sister, Josie Games of Corinth, five grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Reese.

Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today.

 

DEWAYNE "SHOTGUN" IVEY

BELMONT - Thomas Dewayne "Shotgun" Ivey, 41, died Thursday, June 5, 2003, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was a native of Mississippi and a factory worker. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Arlies Ivey and Fannie Jane Brazil Ivey, and an uncle, John Henry Ivey.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Belmont with Bro. Donnie Wooten officiating. Burial will be in the East Prentiss Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Audrey Lee Higginbotham and her husband, James, of Belmont; his parents, Tommy and Linda Ivey of Belmont; one brother, Gary Ivey and his wife, Paula, of Belmont; his grandparents, Earnest and Ollie Mae Wigginton of Golden; one uncle, Donnie Wigginton of Belmont; one aunt, Diane Wigginton of Belmont; three nieces, Laken Ivey, Hannah Wood and Jayde Ivey, all of Belmont.

Pallbearers will be Gary Ivey, Mickey Kuykendall, Jimmy Works, Wade Culver, Billy Kitty and Gifford Houston.

Honorary pallbearers will be Wormy and Charles Harris.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
