Death of Dr. Frank Taylor Brings Sorrow
The people of Booneville were profoundly shocked Monday morning when the news spread that Dr. J. Frank Taylor had passed away at his place of business the Taylor-Smith Drug Store.
Dr. Taylor had gone to Corinth on Sunday to be with his brother George C. Taylor, who was critically ill, and had remained over Sunday night and returning to Booneville on the fast train, reaching here just after nine o'clock on his way to the store, he had a fainting spell and was carried into his store, where medical aid was summoned. Everything possible was done for him, but he only lived a few minutes.
Dr. Taylor was the son of the late
Col. C. A. Taylor and was born and reared near Rienzi. He obtained his early
education at Rienzi in the
He was an active member of the
The bereaved family has the deepest sympathy of the entire community in their sorrow, his brother Mr. George Taylor passed away early Tuesday morning at his home in Corinth and was to rest that afternoon, thus leaving Mrs. J. J. Taylor of Booneville as the only surviving member of the family of three brothers and two sisters.

After the church services the body was carried to the Booneville Cemetery, where it was laid to rest and the newly made mound was covered with a profusion of beautiful flowers that attested the esteem in which this good man was held by those who knew and loved him.

The bereaved family has the deepest sympathy of the entire community in their sorrow, his brother Mr. George Taylor passed away early Tuesday morning at his home in Corinth and was to rest that afternoon, thus leaving Mrs. J.J. Taylor of Booneville as the only surviving member of the family of three brothers and two sisters.
